Addie lives in a company town that used to be polluted by the smelter, but the company now runs cleaner than ever before. Addie isn't sure, and when a school project gives her the chance to dig deeper, she set out to rest her theory. To do this, she'll need help -- so she enlists her frenemy, Priya, and her grandfather, who used to work at the plant.
